How I Fell In Love With An Ugly Person

There was this girl. Frail-looking with wide-eyes, and a smile plastered to her face. We met one Sunday at my place after church. We talked about school, then church, or whatever young teens talk about and then the convo meandered into her problems. I did feel pity and did my best to comfort her but she was like a junior sister and nothing more. No romantic feelings, no s€xual attraction. There is a type of ugly one is okay with. As opposed to the type of 'beauty' that stings the eyes.

Teenagers have fantasies of theirs. And at a point I had mine. Females will date younger men; but which 40 year old woman would fall for a 16 year old teen ? To date in public ! Knowing this, one can only fantasize about 40-year old beauties particularly if they're married. In any case, the SU's amongst us need not fear. Many older women here have flabby bosoms and are walking balloons; even virile man can easily control himself in their midst; unless he's a sucker for big nyansh. When I was young I thought I could never fall for an ugly person. When I read stories in 'Hints' of women who loved ugly men disfacialized by tribal marks; or men falling in love with ugly women; I wondered what made this possible. How did it feel like ?

But then the frail girl grew and then I had feelings to contend with. And some of our big mamas try, some have fine face. And there was this lady, very plain looking. My okay kind of ugly; not fine but not that ugly. I must confess, up till that time I never knew someone's voice can cause €rections, I only knew it could totori someone's heart. And there was a case where I did truly fall in love with a female friend because of her character; but I never told her, and left it at that, friendship. Hers was a case were I truly could say it was her character that made me fall in love, before I saw her bodily beauty.

I hope you learnt something from this. Those of you who think ugly women can't be for you, think otherwise. Till a pretty Jezebel stabs you in the back and suddenly, you see that skin-deep is just that. And some of you who think fat men are slobs, think otherwise; sometimes a fat belly covers a jovial soul. And for those of you born 2 fück you can always console ya sef, because one fact of life is: ugly or not, kitten is kitten. I rest my case.
