Why Is My Ex Posting Sweet Things About Me?

I would like to know from a male perspective why my ex- is posting loving messages about me on Twitter months after we broke up. My account is locked but his is open and I took a look after a mutual friend told me my ex was posting a lot about me and us. I know I probably shouldn't have, but now that I have I have questions about his motivation in doing this and what if anything my best action would be.

I was totally over the moon for this guy, but we'd go through cycles every 4-6 months over a two year period where he would be head over heels, then would get scared to commit. After 3 cycles, I gave it one last try, but it happened again, so I broke it off the last time before he could.


I am new, not sure I am doing this correctly. I just submitted a new post/new thread, but can't seem to find it now. Hope the moderators let me know if I should be doing something differently.

i guess when u say commit you mean marriage, well a man needs to know that his woman is the best for him and that is the only reason a ma will be willing to commit, it has nothing to do with how long the relationship has been or whether the lady is pressuring him or not, so my dear next give the man reason to commit(marry u) rather than threaten him with a break-up when he does not commit early.
On the messages he writes about you i guess he still loves u(now) just that he has not gotten the assurance that you are the best and ready for marriage (both of u). And again it shows that u two did not break up properly this are some of the problems for not breaking up properly. If you dont take care and you are even married he might still be doing this message thing which will not be good for your relationship. wish you well. bye

guys take time to make or take decision when it comes to marriage. For there to be cycles it means that there was something wrong with ur behavior but he did not inform you.
